Unabi

‘Unabi’ from the album Vol. I: Battle Cry. The mural featured in this work is the “Detroit Industry” fresco painting by Mexican muralist Diego Rivera (1886-1957), which is a four-walled mural showcased at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Rivera completed the twenty-seven panel work in eleven months, from April 1932 to March 1933. It is considered the finest example of Mexican mural art in the United States, and the artist thought it the best work of his career.

The abandoned factories that you see are actual factories of Detroit, Michigan in their current state.
