Yoga + Martial Arts = an exquisite YIN/YANG.
They balance each other perfectly.
I returned to yoga classes this week. I stopped going when I was recording the album since I didn’t have much free time and I wasn’t willing to miss martial arts training during those months. But that whole time I felt the void from not practicing yoga. I felt it in my breath, I lost flexibility and my neck got very tight. During martial arts training I would get tired faster, mostly because I wasn’t working on my breathing skills. Now that I’m back to both, my body feels more harmony. My lungs feel more air. My neck is relaxing. It’s good to be back.
