Off to the Amazon Rainforest
Greetings all, it’s Thursday evening, and I am off to Ecuador in the morning with a group of women and the Pachamama Alliance. I will be back in the country in a few weeks…
We will journey deep into the Amazon Rainforest to spend time with the indigenous Achuar tribe.
The main purpose of this trip is to help unleash the power and strength of the feminine energy in the world. As evidenced by my recent video collaboration with Chris Jordan, we have a *few* global issues to address, and it is becoming more clear that we are in an all-hands-on-deck situation. Mama Earth, as well as society, needs some support, innovation and some serious mojo. (Yeah, I said mojo!) And many believe that the rising tide that can create change is the empowerment of the feminine, and of women. Women are the underutilized human capital of the world, and many believe the key to resolution lies within the feminine working in balance with the masculine.
And so there is a group of women who are going right to the source to work together with the indigenous tribes of the Amazon to unleash all of the goodness that will come with the balance of both the masculine and feminine.
And please note, this does not mean the men or the masculine energy is left out of this. We need the masculine energy to be in support of this adventure, very much. It’s about balance. (And if you don’t think that this has been out of balance for years, when I get back, let’s talk.)
I am honored to be invited on this trip to work with the Achuar and others on this issue. I will blog as much as possible when I’m not in the rainforest, but naturally I’m not sure how often I’ll be online. So stay tuned! Because you and I both know that this trip will change me in ways that I don’t even understand yet, and I look forward to sharing the growth, new inspiration and musical muses with you.
