My realization from yesterday’s martial arts training that can be applied to life:
Success is about technique and skill, not force. If I am muscling through something with force, I should stop what I’m doing and analyze the situation/move/circumstance, because there is something that is not correct in the movement. It is the accuracy of practiced skill, the knowledge from those that learned before me, and refined technique that brings success — not forced energy. Forced, sloppy energy is a waste of energy.
